Leon Maister is Senior Application Security Expert at Checkmarx. Leon has about twenty years of experience in software development, IT security and source-code analysis.
Prior to working at Checkmarx, Leon has worked in Comverse one of the biggest Israeli Hi-tech companies as a Software Engineer and Team Leader. Leon regularly speaks at IT security conferences

The presentation shows Artificial Intelligence in two perspectives: at one hand shows how attackers can use genetic algorithms to compromise and destroy systems and on other side the same algorithm can be used in code scanning process, helps to detect vulnerabilities and increase confidence level of results.
