The move to incorporate security into the DevOps pipeline has gotten world wide attention. DevSecOps has become an essential consideration for DevOps transformation initiatives. In this session, Mark Miller, Core Organizer of DevSecOps Days and Executive Producer of the DevSecOps Podcast Series, will talk about the culture of DevSecOps, the most current advances in the community and the benefits that can be gained by considering automation of security at every stage of the software supply chain. Research from the 2019 DevSecOps Community Survey, as well as yet to be released data from the 2019 Software Supply Chain report will be used to show measurable proof that automating security has an ROI, and can be seen as a business decision, not just as a technological one.
